Hello! I’m so happy you’re here!

My name is Kellie, and I’ve been passionate about photography for over half of my life. I’m based in west Michigan, but I’ve photographed weddings all around Michigan, in Detroit, Lansing, Marquette, Holland, Grand Haven, and even around the country in places like Las Vegas, Maine, and Montana. I may be a little biased, but I think I have the best job ever, and I truly can’t imagine doing anything else.

I first got into photography back in 2006 when I was 16. At the time I started playing around with my family’s point and shoot camera, and quickly graduated to a film camera after realizing I had an eye for composition. I grew up in the country right in the middle of Michigan, and I used to drive around photographing whatever caught my eye. Usually fences and benches and barns, which sounds silly, but I’m a big advocate for just putting yourself out there and trying something new, even if you feel silly. I didn’t look cool sitting in a cemetery photographing an umbrella on a bench (that’s a real photo I took….) but doing that sparked this creativity in me. I eventually started photographing weddings for some very trusting souls, and senior portraits for friends. And the rest is history!
